Bangkok – Sight-seeing

I did visit to a few tourist spots during my Bangkok trip instead of only focus on shopping. One of a local friend brought me to an island for island hopping. I personally felt that Thai people are very polite and soft spoken people. Most of them are very loyal to their God especially four face buddha. Here are a few tourist spot that I went in my previous trips…

Erawan Shrine/ Four Face Buddha
It’s located at Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel and opposite Central World. This is the most popular or famous Four Face Buddha where a lot of tourist will purposely came here to pray and make their wishes. The very important thing is if your wish(es) has been granted, MUST back to this place and thank the God.

Ko Kret/Koh Kred
It is an island in the Chao Phraya River. This island is pretty far from Pratunam area and it takes around 30 minutes to reach there by car. This is the place where a local friend brought me there. Upon arrived at Ko Kret, we take a boat ride for island hopping. The boat will stop at a few spot where you can enjoy local food, local craft such as handmade bag and so on…

Yaowarat/Chinatown
I personally think that this place is more suitable for aunties like my mum shop around. There is stalls like market in Malaysia. I went to this place with my mum and my mum managed to get some fungus from China (sell by a China lady) and some other snacks… You will hardly find any tourist in the market and all the stalls and shops owner can’t really speak English and Chinese. If you are lucky enough, you might found people who can speak a bit of Mandarin and Teow Cheow. We enjoy our lunch at this place which recommended by the China lady who selling herbs.
