Preparation of the Big Day (i)

Me and my hubby was struggling and discussed a lot during the preparation of our big day which I would like to share with everyone on our experience. We have limited budget for our wedding including pre-wedding shoot, renovation of our room, decoration and so on… As our family are pretty particular on the chinese tradition rules and regulation hence a lot of preparation involved.

We have been research a lot on the pre-wedding shoot style by refer to others pre-wedding photo albums and talked to wedding photo shooting studio. Before this we have heard a lot of friends saying that after wedding actual day they will hardly look at the pre-wedding album again. Some even said “oh… I put under the bed after wedding day” or “I can’t even remember where I put the album”… After hearing all these from friends we decided not to invest too much in this part and since we both don’t really like to take photos so we go for casual pre-wedding shoot.

I have been looking around and viewing the facebook profile of wedding photographer and at last I have chose He offered us 2 different package where I chose the most simple & cheapest package cost us RM1,950 (after discount) which included:
– Up to 6 hours of photography session with unlimited exposures
– 2 shooting locations (he actually gave us 3 shooting locations :p)
– Make up + hair do

– TWO 20 pages 10′ x 10′ Crystal Cover Premium Albums (total 40 pages) (we only took one album so he offered us RM150 discount)
– All soft copies will deliver in DVD with high resolution, edited and ready to print
– FREE DVD slideshow

Wooi Loon is a young guys who really in love with photographing. He’s not those photographer that only want to make money from the clients. We listed 5 locations in Penang for the shooting session and he actually go to all 5 locations personally to have the first feeling of the locations. After that he called and meet up with us and discussed on the locations and talked to us. After the discussion we have sort listed 3 locations which are Clan Jetty, China House & Straits Quay. And next, costumes have to be ready on our side

Next, I’m going to share with you guys the more on the progress… Stay tune!!
